Purification Week 2 Begins!
Purification Day 8.
Well, interesting development. I have lost 6 lbs in 7 days on the purification program. Here are the official numbers as of this morning. Body weight 167.4 lbs (173.4 at the start), Percentage of body fat 16.1 (16.8 at the start), Percentage as water weight 60% (up from 59.6%).
Believe me, I am not trying to lose weight. Heck, I’m not even working out! I have just been eating clean and hydrating and taking the supplements that came with the program! Clearly I haven’t lost water weight because that number has risen as a percentage of my weight.
So far, I have been eating more protein than the program calls for just because I didn’t want to lose too much weight. I certainly don’t want to lose any muscle mass. Seems like it is coming off as fat burning. Eliminating the processed carbs has certainly had a dramatic effect!
Regardless, I am feeling pretty good. Energy over all is very sustained. I am not getting the afternoon sleepies as I normally do after lunch, necessitating a cup of coffee or quick power nap…
Since I am now on day 8, I can stop taking the SP Cleanse capsules. I was taking 7 caps three times a day. Now I have shifted over to the SP Green Food which is a concentrated mix of dark green veggies from kale, brussel sprouts, cabbage and other cruciferous veggies. I have to take 5 caps two times a day. Very do-able…
So far so good! All in all it has been a pretty good experience. I has turned out to be a lot less stressful than I originally anticipated.
If you feel like you need to get on track and take control of you eating you really should take a look at this purification program. If you would like to learn more feel free to contact me. If you have a comment please feel free post it below. I would love to hear from you!
Purification Day 3 Going strong!
Purification Day 3 Complete.
72 hours done! I have to say that I am feeling pretty good so far. Cravings are minimal so far and I think I am safely past the threat of the dreaded caffeine headache. My energy is good so far and I have noticed that I am not getting sleepy in the afternoon. That has always been a trouble spot for me and yesterday I was pretty alert!
I am starting to get a realistic sense of how many veggies I can eat in a day so my next shopping trip will be a lot less expensive. I went overboard last Saturday and bought to many fresh veggies. I won’t be making that mistake again!
I didn’t eat any steamed veggies yesterday. Instead, for dinner, I roasted a head of cauliflower some zucchini and asparagus. I cut up the head of cauliflower and lightly coated it with some virgin olive oil and drizzled it with lemon. I put them in a baking dish at 375 until they lightly browned. Very delish! If your steamed veggies get boring I suggest roasting, especially the root veggies.
So here is what I ate yesterday.
Breakfast: 20oz of hot lemon water; berry smoothie.
Mid-morning: 2 hard boiled eggs and an apple.
Lunch: I had a little cheat here. I had sashimi at the local sushi bar. I didn’t have the white rice but did enjoy the miso soup with tofu and seaweed.
Mid-afternoon: Berry Smoothie
Dinner: I had the Green salad I didn’t eat at lunch with 5 oz of shredded chicken and avocado. Roast cauliflower, zucchini, and asparagus.
I drank 80 oz of water.
My weight day 3: 172lbs
Body fat: 16.6
Water weight: 59.7%
On to day four…
